Beef slow cooked in a spiced rub, with a spiced mango sauce.

Our British beef has been slow cooked for ten hours in a blend of Middle Eastern-style spices so the meat is succulent, tender and full of flavour. All you have to do is finish it in the oven for 30 minutes, and then gently shred the meat. It comes with our take on a mango amba sauce, a fruity, sharp and spicy condiment that's popular in cafes of the Levantine region. Our beef is expertly prepared and matured for tenderness and flavour, and our prime cattle are reared on a forage-based diet on carefully selected British farms.

OVEN HEAT. Preheat oven. Empty the contents of the pouch into a suitably sized ovenproof dish, cover with foil, and place into the oven for 20 mins. Remove foil, and return to the oven for a further 10 mins. Remove from the oven. Shred the beef using two forks whilst mixing through the cooking juices. Stand for 2-3 mins before serving. Serve with the spiced mango sauce. (Time 30 mins, Oven: 200, Fan: 180, Gas: Gas Mark 6)
