It's dry cured and air dried on the bone for 21 days, for superb flavour and succulence, and cooked with treacle and festive spices that perfectly complement the ham. Gas 9, 240°C, Fan 220°C, 20 mins
Preheat oven. Remove all packaging including bone guard, and place into an ovenproof dish. Decant the sachet into a small bowl and add 2 teaspoons of water.
Mix well to create a paste. Spread the paste across the top of the ham, and rub into the surface. Place into oven for 15-20 minutes until dark golden brown. Leave to rest for 10 minutes. Carve and serve.
Do not reheat once cooled.
