Slices of melt in the mouth Italian cured ham, marinated with summer truffles that infuse the meat with their rich, aromatic flavour, and complement its natural sweetness. ……Made by a fourth generation family business, with pork from a unique breed of pig reared in northern Italy and fed on a selected diet of cereals and grains. Whole pork legs are specially selected and cured in just enough pure sea salt to preserve the meat. By the end of the process, the meat has lost more than a third of its weight; it becomes tender and the distinctive aroma and flavour of the ham emerges. The pork legs are marinated with minced summer truffles for a minimum of 72 hours before slicing, so the flavour of the truffles can really infuse the meat.
