This rich, indulgent cognac commemorates the Accord Royal granted by King Louis XV to Remy Martin, allowing the cognac house to use his land to plant vines. It's mellow and smooth with notes of plum and fig marmalade rounded out by toffee, spice and toast flavours thanks to the use of French oak barrels.
Granted as a royal recognition of excellence. Rémy Martin is a family story since 1724, driven by one quest: to capture the heart of Cognac: Fine Champagne Cognac. Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal is a tribute to the exceptional know-how of La Maison Rémy Martin, already recognised in 1738 by the King of France himself. This cognac is the embodiment of traditional craftsmanship, combining the time-honoured arts of distilling with lees, blending Fine Champagne eaux-de-vie, and selecting toasted barrels. The bottle in itself is special, crafted in the traditional style that characterises the first cognac bottles. Best enjoyed neat or with frozen grapes. For the ultimate pairing experience, compliment with a cheese platter or with dark chocolate on the side.
