Higher welfare pork slow cooked for 10 hours so the meat is tender and succulent, with a rich, sticky spiced date sauce. Simply finish in the oven - it's ready in 30 minutes and serves two. Delicious with a saffron rice pilaff, speckled with raisins, pomegranate seeds, sun-dried tomatoes and olives. Cooking Info

OVEN HEAT. Preheat oven. Empty meat and liquor into an ovenproof dish, and cover with foil. Cook for 25 minutes. Remove foil and drain off liquor. Pour contents of sauce sachet over meat, and cook for a further 5 minutes. Serve. Do not reheat once cooled. (Time 30 mins, Oven: 200°C, Fan: 180°C, Gas: Gas Mark 6)
