Fruit skewers with Mars Bar sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 x 39.4g Mars Bars, roughly chopped
  • 5 tbsp double cream
  • 4 Perfectly Ripe Kiwis, cut into chunks (about 8 per kiwi)
  • 400g pack strawberries, larger ones halved

Method

  1. Soak 8 bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes. Put the Mars Bar chunks and cream in a nonstick pan and melt over a low heat for 7-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until you have a thick sauce. Add a pinch of salt, then take off the heat.

  2. Meanwhile, thread the fruit chunks onto the skewers. Grill on the barbecue for about 2 minutes on each side until slightly charred and softened. Serve with the sauce to drizzle over or dunk.
