MEAL MATHS BEEF ONION MUSHROOM PIES

1. Preheat the oven to 200℃, gas mark 6. Cook the beef according to pack instructions. Meanwhile, drizzle the mushrooms with ½ tbsp olive oil on a baking tray, season and roast with the beef for 20 minutes. Drain the brisket and shred. Turn the oven to 220 C, gas mark 7. 

2. In a bowl, mix the beef, mushrooms and onion soup, then season. Unroll the pastry and cut 2 pieces big enough to cover 2 x 400ml pie dishes. Halve the remaining pastry, roll it out a little and use to line the dishes then add the filling. Top with the pastry lids, crimp the edges and cut a slit in the top. Brush with milk and bake for 30 minutes. 

3. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
