Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

The Promoter is set out at the end of these Terms and Conditions.

WHO CAN ENTER

This prize draw is open, subject to any other qualifications in these terms and conditions, to all residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 years or over with a valid email address, except for employees of the Promoter, its associated companies, agents, third parties or anyone else professionally connected with this prize draw. Proof of age may be required.

By submitting a prize draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the terms and conditions of this prize draw. In the event of a conflict, these terms and conditions take precedence. 

To enter the prize draw you must have an active MyWaitrose membership.

No purchase necessary. There is no charge to submit an entry via the website at waitrose.com/winSloveniafoodietour.

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES

Entries must be received between 00:01 on 19.06.24 and 23:59 on 16.07.24 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, simply go to waitrose.com/winSloveniafoodietour, follow the prize draw instructions at the top of the page and submit your details and other required information using the online form provided.

There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries submitted directly or with the use of any automated systems will not be entered into the draw.

No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in transit, regardless of the cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. 

Those entries not in accordance with the rules will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the prize draw; any entry containing false, incomplete or misleading information will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the prize draw. 

THE PRIZE

The Promoter is responsible for the Prize Draw. Provision of the prize is the responsibility of the Prize Provider.

The Prize Provider for this promotion is TS Tours Ltd with registration number 12057096 with its registered office address 4-6 Canfield Place, London NW6 3BT.

The prize as described is available on the date of publication. Should the prize become unavailable, a substitute of equal value will be provided.

There is one prize to be won. The prize is two spaces on the five-night Slovenia foodie tour, departing on the 2nd October 2024. 

Inclusions for the prize are: 

- Return flights from the UK, services of a bilingual guide, all transfers, including airport transfers on the arrival and departure day, two nights' accommodation in Ljubljana, one night's accommodation in Bled, two nights' accommodation in Istra, breakfast each day at your hotel, one picnic lunch, one homestead dinner (other food and drink is not included), visit to Velika Planina, brewery tour and craft beer tasting, visit to Triglav National Park, walk along the Tolmin Gorge Circuit, wine tour and tasting in the Vipava Wine Valley, guided tour of the UNESCO Skocjan Caves, olive oil tasting and picnic, truffle hunting excursion. Flights are from London Gatwick, alternative flights might be available, subject to availability and at the discretion of the Prize Provider, at a supplement which will be passed on to the prize winner. 

Travel is on 2nd October 2024, no alternative dates are available. By entering the competition, the entrant confirms they can travel on the stated date. Both the winner and the winner’s guest must be aged 18 or over on the date of travel.

If the winner cancels their tour at any stage or fails to arrive by the departure time, their prize will be forfeited, and the winner shall not be entitled to any form of compensation. Should the Prize Provider cancel the trip, an alternative of equal value will be provided.

Standard terms and conditions apply to the booked tour (except for cancellation charges as outlined above). Please note that our tours do not include travel between the winner’s home and the airport, alcoholic beverages, gratuities, travel insurance, personal expenditure or incidental costs. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they and their guest each have valid travel insurance. 

All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. 

The winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of the Prize Provider and the Promoter.

Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter or the Prize Provider.  Accordingly, the Promoter or Prize Provider may, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter or Prize Provider as a result thereof.

WINNER SELECTION

All valid and, if applicable, correct entries received by the Closing Date will be entered into a prize draw, and the winners will be picked at random.  

The winner’s details (surname and county only) will be available for one month after the Closing Date by sending a request to the Promoter by at Waitrose Limited, Media Team, Floor 2, Waite House, Doncastle Road, Southern Industrial Area, Bracknell RG12 8YA, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope, or alternatively by emailing customerserviceteam@waitrose.co.uk.

WINNER NOTIFICATION

Winners will be notified by email, text or phone call as soon as practicable after the prize draw, using the contact details provided with the prize draw entry. The winners will be required to respond within 30 days of notification (unless otherwise stated) confirming their acceptance of the prize. In the event winners do not respond to communications within this period or if any prize is declined, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and draw another winner. 

Please allow 45 days from the date of the winner’s address verification for delivery of the prize.

We will treat all of your personal data as confidential. We will keep it on a secure server and fully comply with all applicable privacy regulations and consumer legislation. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Promoter and its associated agencies, companies and distributors will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this prize draw or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including liability for fraud or death or personal injury arising from negligence) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

If you have opted-in to receive further information or marketing from any of the Promoter’s agents or suppliers involved in the administration of this prize draw, you understand and accept that the relevant third party will be solely responsible for any processing of your personal data for these purposes, that such processing will be governed by terms of that third party’s privacy policy and that the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability in association with any such data processing for these purposes.

GENERAL

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or if the Promoter believes that your conduct may be unlawful or otherwise bring the prize draw into disrepute, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to make your entry void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or amend the prize prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.

This prize draw and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
