Serves: 2
150g Waitrose Duchy Organic Whole Grain Rice
30g Waitrose Duchy Organic Pure Set Honey
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
½ lime, juice
1 tsp sriracha sauce
150g Waitrose Duchy Organic Cooked King Prawns
1 tsp vegetable oil
2 cloves Waitrose Duchy Organic Garlic, finely sliced
2 Waitrose Duchy Organic Salad Onions, trimmed and thinly sliced at an angle
½ Waitrose Duchy Organic Pepper (red, yellow or orange), thinly sliced
½ Waitrose Duchy Organic Pointed Cabbage, cored and shredded
1. Cook the rice according to pack instructions. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice and sriracha. Add the prawns and toss to coat. Cover and chill until needed.
2. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan over a high heat. Add the garlic and the white parts of the salad onion. Stir fry until fragrant, then add the pepper. Fry for 2 minutes, or until starting to char.
3. Add the cabbage and fry for 1 minute, then add the prawns and their marinade. Cook for 30 seconds, until the prawns are hot and everything is coated in the sauce. Serve over the brown rice, scattered with the remaining salad onion.
