A mix for Dumplings..Add a special finishing touch to any casserole or stew with this easy-to-prepare dumpling mix, with beef suet adding that extra flavour for a hearty and homely meal. Makes 8 dumplings.
Required: 60-75ml water, plain/all purpose flour, mixing bowl.220°C, Fan 200°C, Gas mark 7, 20-30 mins1 Place the dumpling mix into a bowl and add the water, gently mixing into a slightly sticky dough, using more water if required.2 With floured hands, divide the dough into 8 equal portions and form into dumplings.3 Place the dumplings on top of a simmering stew and cook for 20-30 mins, or follow suggested guidance if using your own recipe.- Please ensure food is cooked until piping hot.- These instructions are guidelines only.
