Microwave

1 Mix 40g of porridge oats with 180ml of milk in a microwave proof bowl2 Place the bowl in the microwave and cook for 2 minutes on full power (800w)3 Stir well, then cook for a further 30 seconds4 Leave to stand for 2 minutes before tucking in

Hob

1 Mix 40g of porridge oats with 180ml of milk in a saucepan2 Bring the saucepan to boil on a medium heat then simmer for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally
