One of the first cuttings brought to the Cape by Jan Van Riebeeck in the 1650s, Chenin Blanc is now widely recognised as the premium white grape variety in South Africa, producing outstanding wines. Grapes are handpicked from unirrigated old bush vines that produce an intense fruit character, epitomising the distinct Stellenbosch terroir. The name Kaapzicht (Cape view) comes from the stunning view from the vineyards over Cape Town and Table Mountain.
