Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.- Grown for us by Domenico in Campania, who only harvests when properly ripe, a process that intensively farmed growers no longer perform. - Domenico capitalises on the long hours of sunshine and mild climate, thinning the branches early in the season to allow the remaining fruit to absorb a higher concentration of nutrients. - The result is intensely flavoursome fruit, whose distinctive bloom signals perfect ripeness, ready to be handpicked. - We work closely with Domenico, sourcing each of his ten White Peach varieties throughout the summer. Each variety is only available for a short, two to three week window and comes into season at a slightly different time. - The varieties that have a red blush have high levels of anthocyanins which produce the berry colour blushes and flavours.
