Rich and creamy, with sweet caramel notes. Our No. 1 Beemster Dutch Gouda PDO is made with milk from cows grazed on the lush grass of the Beemster Polder, land that was reclaimed from Lake Beemster, revealing rich, fertile clay soil. Their rich, creamy milk is made into large, caramel-coloured wheels of cheese that are matured on wood shelves, and turned and polished by hand every day. Made with pasteurised cow's milk. Strength 5.
