Bodegas Olarra is defined by a winemaking philosophy that marries deep tradition with modern innovation. Their dedication to the land is matched only by their breathtaking facility, famously known across the region as 'The Cathedral of Rioja' due to its spectacular architecture. The roof of the magnificent barrel room features 111 hexagonal domes, designed to naturally regulate the temperature while the wines age. This Rioja Reserva delivers bold richness, blending Tempranillo, Graciano, and Mazuelo from the esteemed Rioja Alta and Alavesa regions. Aged for 20 months in oak and 18 months in the bottle, it offers a deep ruby colour and a powerful nose of blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry. The palate delights with delicate smoke, liquorice, cinnamon, and clove, culminating in a smooth, lingering finish. This full-bodied yet elegant red is delicious with roasted lamb, braised beef or Jamón Ibérico.
