Lightly spiced all butter fruited sponge cake with a layer of marzipan baked within, topped with a layer of marzipan and decorated with 11 marzipan balls.

Our No. 1 Hand-Finished Simnel Cake is a luxurious take on the Easter classic, made by the renowned Fiona Cairns bakery. The all butter recipe is bursting with plump vine fruits steeped in orange juice and sweet glacé cherries, and layered and decorated with marzipan. It's beautifully hand finished, and the marzipan on top is toasted for a lovely burnished colour and nutty, caramel notes.

Keep flat Store closed in a cool dry place away from heat source and direct sunlight. Once opened store in an airtight container. For best before date see top of pack on film.

Serving Suggestion: Remove all packaging. Place on a flat surface. Use a sharp serrated knife in a gentle sawing action, cleaning the blade between slices to ensure good presentation of the product.
