Our No. 1 Slow Cooked Beef Short Ribs is comfort food with a luxurious twist. Beef short ribs are cooked long and slow for 7 hours, so the meat is meltingly tender and falling off the bone. It's complemented by a rich, deeply flavourful gravy made with mellow black garlic, shallots, beef dripping and a generous splash of Merlot. Delicious with creamy mash and honey-glazed carrots. Serving suggestions: Slice the short rib in between the bone to give 2 portions, and pour over sauce.

Air Fry ……180ºC …40 minutes. Preheat air fryer. Remove all packaging. Place the sauce sachet to one side. Empty contents of the meat pouch into the air fryer ensuring an even spread in one layer, program air fryer to cook for the time shown. Check food is piping hot and cooked thoroughly. Do not reheat once cooled. Two or more packs may require further cooking time. Please check manufacturer's instructions. While the short rib is resting, heat the sauce in a pan and heat over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until piping hot.

Oven cook (From Chilled)

Preheat oven. Place the sauce sachet to one side. Empty contents of the meat pouch into the foil dish, cover with foil. Place in the centre of the oven. Remove the foil 15 minutes before the end of cooking and baste. Baste again prior to serving. While the short rib is resting, heat the sauce in a pan and heat over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled. (Time 55 minutes, Oven: 200º, Fan: 180º, Gas: Gas Mark 6)
