Oatcakes are of a round and rugged appearance prepared for your enjoyment with Bacon & Cheese or just 'Cheesy' Oatcakes have been made for generations and at one time an oatcake baker could be found in every street in the back kitchen of a house or outhouse.

Serving Suggestions: Povey's Oatcakes are a versatile product which can be served in a variety of ways and eaten hot or cold - the possibilities are endless! Traditionally they are filled with cheese, bacon, sausage, beans, eggs, tomatoes. A more adventurous selection of fillings include Chilli Con Came, Chicken Tikka, Vegetable Curry etc.
Microwave
Fill the oatcake with a desired filling.e.g. grated cheese.Roll or fold the oatcake, place on a plate and heat in the microwave until the filling is cooked/hot.
Grill
Fill the oatcakes with a desired filling.e.g. Grated cheese pre-cooked bacon.Place under a medium heat until the filling is cooked/hot.
