(roast icon) Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Allow lamb to rest for 10 minutes to enable the colour to return and any contaminant odour to disappear. This does not affect the quality of the lamb. Place lamb in a roasting tin in the oven. Ensure surface of meat is thoroughly cooked. Leave to rest in a warm place for 10-15 minutes before carving. (Time medium: 25 mins +25 mins per 500g - Well done: 30 mins + 30 mins per 500g Oven: 180°C, Fan: 160°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 4)
