    Minced lamb pilaff

    500g pack essential Waitrose British Minced Lamb
    1 essential Waitrose Onion, sliced
    1 essential Waitrose Red Pepper, diced
    2 tbsp Patak’s Mild Curry Paste
    200g essential Waitrose Basmati Rice
    500ml lamb stock
    50g toasted flaked almonds


    1. Fry the mince and onion in a large saucepan for 4–5 minutes until browned. Add the pepper, curry paste and rice and cook for 1 minute.

    2. Add the stock, cover and simmer for 15 minutes until the rice is tender, stirring occasionally. Add the almonds and serve.
