Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

The Promoter is set out at the end of these Terms and Conditions.

WHO CAN ENTER

This prize draw is open, subject to any other qualifications in these terms and conditions, to all residents of the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) who are aged 18 years or over with a valid email address, except for employees of the Promoter, its associated companies, agents, third parties or anyone else professionally connected with this prize draw. Proof of age may be required.

By submitting a prize draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the terms and conditions of this prize draw. In the event of a conflict, these terms and conditions take precedence. 

To enter the prize draw you must have an active My Waitrose membership.

No purchase necessary. There is no charge to submit an entry via the website at waitrose.com/winwithbritishairwaysholidays.

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES

Entries must be received between 00:01 on 04 November 2026 and 23:59 on 03 December 2026 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, simply go to waitrose.com/winwithbritishairwaysholidays, follow the prize draw instructions at the top of the page and submit your details and other required information using the online form provided.

There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries submitted directly or with the use of any automated systems will not be entered into the draw.

No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in transit, regardless of the cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. 

Those entries not in accordance with the rules will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the prize draw; any entry containing false, incomplete or misleading information will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the prize draw. 

THE PRIZE

The prize is a £2,000 voucher that can be used either to fully cover the cost or partial payment towards a holiday package with British Airways Holidays (BAH). There are 1 prize(s) available to be won. The Voucher can be redeemed on holiday packages only. Holidays (BAH) via ba.com must include a flight combined with a hotel and/or car hire.

The Voucher must be redeemed (i.e. used for or towards a booking) by 31 December 2027.

A Voucher can only be used once and not for multiple trips with BAH. Any remaining balance on a Voucher is non-refundable or transferable.  Additionally, any balance above the Voucher value of £2,000 must be paid for by the winner.

British Airways Holidays (‘’BAH’’):

All British Airways Holidays package bookings are ATOL Protected (ATOL No. 5985).

Any travel expenses, or any other expenses in the general use of and enjoyment of the prize, that the winners or their guests incur are the sole responsibility of the winners or their guests.

The Voucher cannot be used for British Airways flights only or with Avios Hotels.

A Voucher can only be used once and not for multiple trips with BAH. Any remaining balance on a Voucher is non-refundable or transferable.  Additionally, any balance above the Voucher value of £2,000 must be paid for by the winner. 

Any other incidental expenses relating to the holiday are not included in the Voucher value and must be paid for by the winner.

Once the trip is booked with BAH, it is non-changeable, exchangeable, or refundable. The holiday is subject to British Airways Holidays package regulations. The Voucher is as stated, and no cash or credit alternative shall be offered for the Voucher. If you miss your flight, or fail to take the outbound leg, your flight will be void and cancelled. Similarly, if you fail to check-in for any booked accommodation and/or car hire this will be void and cancelled. It is the responsibility of a winner to organise any necessary visas and passports required for travel. A winner and their guest(s) must travel on the same itinerary. All parts of the Voucher must be used in conjunction with the same booking. The Voucher does not include travel between the winner’s home and the UK airport, any transfers to or from their overseas hotel, travel insurance, food and drink (outside what is previously declared in the board basis,) personal expenditure or incidental costs. A winner and their guest(s) are solely responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documentation (including passport/visa/visa waiver as may be required), obtaining adequate travel insurance and appropriate vaccinations / inoculations (including COVID-19 tests) for foreign travel at their own expense.

The winner is responsible for paying all associated costs that are not specifically stated in any promotional materials or these terms and conditions, including (where applicable) transport, accommodation, meal costs, spending money, insurance, and all other incidentals. Winners are also personally responsible for any personal or incidental expenses and any VAT, national and/or local tax liabilities incurred in claiming or using the Voucher. By participating in the Prize Draw, participants agree that a Voucher is awarded on an as is basis, and that neither the Promoter nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies, make any representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the Voucher. 

You shall not, under any circumstances, transfer, allocate, assign, or allow any other person to use the Voucher.

Prizes are subject to availability. They are non-transferable, non-refundable and, unless stated, there are no cash alternatives. In the event that the prize is out of stock or if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value. 

WINNER SELECTION

All valid and, if applicable, correct entries received by the Closing Date will be entered into a prize draw, and the winners will be picked at random.  

The winner’s details (surname and county only) will be available for one month after the Closing Date by sending a request to the Promoter by at Waitrose Limited, Media Team, Floor 2, Waite House, Doncastle Road, Southern Industrial Area, Bracknell RG12 8YA, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope, or alternatively by emailing customerserviceteam@waitrose.co.uk.

WINNER NOTIFICATION

Winners will be notified by email, text or phone call as soon as practicable after the prize draw, using the contact details provided with the prize draw entry. The winners will be required to respond within 30 days of notification (unless otherwise stated) confirming their acceptance of the prize. In the event winners do not respond to communications within this period or if any prize is declined, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and draw another winner. 

Please allow 7 days from the date of the winner’s address verification for delivery of the prize.

We will treat all of your personal data as confidential. We will keep it on a secure server and fully comply with all applicable privacy regulations and consumer legislation. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Promoter and its associated agencies, companies and distributors will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this prize draw or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including liability for fraud or death or personal injury arising from negligence) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

If you have opted-in to receive further information or marketing from any of the Promoter’s agents or suppliers involved in the administration of this prize draw, you understand and accept that the relevant third party will be solely responsible for any processing of your personal data for these purposes, that such processing will be governed by terms of that third party’s privacy policy and that the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability in association with any such data processing for these purposes.  

GENERAL

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or if the Promoter believes that your conduct may be unlawful or otherwise bring the prize draw into disrepute, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to make your entry void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or amend the prize prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.

This prize draw and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Personal information

To allocate the Voucher to you and service your booking, BAH may require your personal information (including but not limited to your name, email address and phone number).

Any personal information (including but not limited to your name, email address and telephone number) provided to BAH during the entry process for the Prize Draw must be correct. BAH accepts no responsibility for any incorrect personal information provided to us.

If you are a winner of the Prize Draw, you consent for BAH to use your personal information for the purpose of allocating a Voucher. Personal information will only be taken where necessary, and its use shall be limited to those details reasonably necessary for the administration of the Prize Draw, including notifying you if you are a winner.

If you are not successful in the Prize Draw, any personal information provided will be securely destroyed once the winners of the Prize Draw have been identified.

Any personal data relating an entrant of the Prize Draw will be used solely in accordance with the UK’s current data protection legislation as amended from time to time and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

The winners’ name and country will be available on request after each the prize has been drawn by emailing prizewinners@holidays.ba.com.

General

BAH reserves the right to cancel or amend without notice these terms and conditions and any Voucher issued in the event of a major catastrophe, war, earthquake or any actual or anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other circumstance beyond BAH’s control.

Except as otherwise expressly set out in these terms and conditions, BAH and its affiliates shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of their respective obligations that are caused by events outside of their reasonable control. BAH’s total liability for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Vouchers shall be limited to the value of the Vouchers. BAH and its affiliates shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions or otherwise for any special, indirect, or consequential losses incurred by you in any way.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Acceptance

By entering this Prize Draw, an entrant is indicating their acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
