Delivery Pass

It's a Waitrose & Partners subscription service for deliveries of Waitrose grocery products purchased from waitrose.com or via the Waitrose & Partners App.

Pay upfront, and then use it to book up to one available grocery delivery slot per day (subject to availability), at no extra delivery cost, for the duration of your subscription.

The Waitrose Delivery Pass is currently available as a 1, 6 or 12-month subscription. 

In order to purchase a Delivery Pass you need to be:

• A resident within England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland > Have a valid Waitrose & Partners online grocery account
• Aged 16 years or older 
• The Waitrose Delivery Pass is currently available as a 1, 6 or 12-month subscription. 

You can pay for your Delivery Pass using any of the following:

• John Lewis Partnership Card
• Maestro UK
• MasterCard Debit and Credit
• Visa Debit and Credit
• American Express
• Apple Pay
• Google Pay 

You can start using your Delivery Pass immediately. 

To apply your Delivery Pass to any of your pending orders, you'll need to:

• Amend the order
• Change the slot
• Select your preferred slot (this can include your original slot) > Check out 

Yes, after your initial (and any following) subscription term expires, your Delivery Pass will automatically renew for the same duration, which can be either 1, 6, or 12-months, depending on the pass you select.

We'll automatically charge you the relevant subscription fee for each renewal unless you tell us before the renewal date that you wish to end your Delivery Pass. We'll send you an email reminder of each renewal 7 days before your renewal date.

If you choose to end your Delivery Pass outside of any 14-day cancellation period, we’ll not refund any subscription fee we’ve already received, unless we agree otherwise. 

The easiest and quickest way to do this is by accessing your Waitrose online grocery account overview and then:

• Access the 'Delivery Pass' section
• Click the 'Manage subscription' button
• Click the ‘Cancel subscription' button on the 'Current plan' (page that follows)

After cancelling your auto-renewal, your pass will stay active until the end of your current subscription term. 

Yes, to be able to use your Delivery Pass to book a delivery of Waitrose groceries, you'll need to satisfy the minimum trolley spend value of £40 (after any discounts, offers and savings have been deducted), which applies to any online grocery order placed on waitrose.com.

We may change our minimum spend requirements at any time in accordance with our online shopping terms and conditions. 

You can book one available delivery slot per day (subject to availability), at no additional delivery cost, for the duration of your subscription. 

Your Waitrose Delivery Pass, entitles you to book one delivery slot per day, at no extra delivery cost, for the duration of your subscription.

However, it’s not guaranteed that a slot will always be available in your specific postcode on your required day and time. 

You may use your Delivery Pass to deliver your Waitrose groceries to an alternative address in the UK other than your primary residence eg: a holiday home.

We might ask for proof that you're associated with the delivery address used for any Delivery Pass delivery, ie, the address is your temporary or permanent home or work address, and not the home or work address of any friend or relative. 

No, you cannot pause your Delivery Pass subscription.

However, you can prevent your pass from auto-renewing at any time by accessing your Waitrose online grocery account overview and then:

• Access the 'Delivery Pass' section
• Click the 'Manage subscription' button
• Click the ‘Cancel subscription' on the 'Current plan' (page that follows)

After the cancellation of your auto-renewal, your pass will stay active until the end of your current subscription term. 

You can change your chosen payment details at any time by clicking the 'Manage subscription' button within the Delivery Pass section of your Waitrose online grocery account overview. 

You can't switch Delivery Pass types until your current one is cancelled or expires, at which point you can buy a new one.

Upon cancellation or expiry, you’ll be able to purchase a new type of Delivery Pass in accordance with our Delivery Pass terms and conditions. 

You’ll need to contact Customer Care to request a cancellation.
You may cancel your Delivery Pass and request a refund, without giving a reason, provided you ask

to cancel by no later than the end of the 14-day period that starts the day after your purchase.

With our 12-month Delivery Pass, you'll also have the right to cancel your Delivery Pass and request a refund, without giving a reason, following each renewal, provided you cancel no later than the end of the 14 days, starting the day after the renewal.

Your refund will be processed no later than 14 days after the day on which we are made aware of your cancellation request. For more details on your cancellation rights, please see the Delivery Pass terms and conditions. 

Yes, you'll get early access to Waitrose Christmas delivery slots in any given year, provided you have an active Delivery Pass that you bought before 1 September in the same year.

Your early access will be subject to additional terms and conditions,, which will be confirmed by email ahead of the Christmas period. These will include the:

• Specific period during which your early access will apply
• Number of delivery slots you can book during the Christmas period

No, you'll not get extra points should you use the John Lewis Partnership Card to buy a Delivery Pass, but you will benefit from the standard earn rate of points on your purchase. 

No, you cannot use any gift card or vouchers to purchase a Delivery Pass. 

No, you don't need to be a My Waitrose loyalty card member, but you do need a Waitrose online account before you can sign up for a Delivery Pass. 

No, you can only use your Delivery Pass to place online orders of grocery products purchased from waitrose.com or via the Waitrose & Partners App.

Your Delivery Pass cannot be used with any other products or services which are offered or sold by, or on behalf of, Waitrose & Partners, including any products purchased from:

• waitrosegarden.com
• dishpatch.co.uk
• Deliveroo
• Uber Eats
• Just Eat
