    Preparation and Usage

    Blas y Tir Maris Piper potatoes are great for: Frying; for chips, cut into chunky shapes, rinse and pat dry. Deep fry until crisp and golden brown. Mashing; boil for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through. Add milk, butter and season to taste. Roasting; peel, rinse and cut into even sizes. Parboil for 10 minutes. Drain and place on a baking tray. Coat in oil. Roast in preheated oven 200°C/Gas Mark 6 for about 45 mins. Popular, adaptable Maris Pipers are great for chips, mash, roasting, wedges or jackets.

    Oven cook

    Roasting; Peel, rinse and chunk potatoes. Parboil for 10 minutes. Drain and coat in oil or fat. Roast in a preheated oven 200�C/425�F/Gas Mark 6 for around 45 minutes, turning twice.Baking; Bake for an hour in a preheated oven, 200�C or Gas Mark 6. When cooked, Cut a cross in the top with a knife, add a little butter or your favourite filling and enjoy!

    Deep fry

    Frying; For chips, cut potatoes into chunky shapes and rinse in cold water. Pat dry. Immerse in hot oil in a deep fat fryer until crisp and golden brown.

    Hob

    Parboil potatoes for 20 minutes or until tender. Pour hot (not boiling) milk over potatoes and mash until smooth. Season and serve hot.
