Preparation and Usage
Get baking! Preparation Preheat the oven to 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas mark 4. Approximately 10 minutes before you are ready to bake. - Line the baking tray with baking paper. - Mix in a bowl the baking mix, eggs, milk and butter. Then, using a wooden spoon, stir all your ingredients together until smooth. Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared tray. Bake in the middle of the oven for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer, inserted fully into the centre of the sponge, comes out clean. Remove from the oven and leave to cool completely. Slice the sponge into 8 rectangles. - For the icing, mix the icing mix and water until it's smooth and creamy. - Using a spoon, spread the icing on the cake, making it look like mummy and ghost shapes. Don't forget to add some eyes for decoration! Enjoy your spooky treats! You will need: - 100g soft butter or margarine - 3 medium eggs - 50ml milk - 20ml (3-4tsp) water for the icing - Rectangular baking tray 10" x 8" tray bake
