Cooking instructions

General

Cooking instructions are a guide and subject to personal guide preference and appliance type.

Hob

Pour half a cup of Nairn's Scottish Porridge Oats into a saucepan. Fill the same cup to the top with your choice of milk or cold water and add to the oats. Bring to the boil, stirring all the time. Reduce heat to a simmer and gently stir for 4-5 minutes.

Microwave

Pour half a cup of Nairn's Scottish Porridge Oats into a deep microwaveable bowl. Fill the same cup to the top with your choice of milk or cold water and add to the oats. Stir well and microwave on either power level 700w for 3 minutes or power level 900w for 2 minutes. Stir half way through cooking time.
