Ingredients
- 6 x 252g packs 12 British Pork Pigs in Blankets (about 72)
- 225g jar Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce
- 1½ tbsp white sesame seeds, toasted
- 4 salad onions, finely sliced
Method
Put the pigs in blankets in a large mixing bowl with the char siu sauce. Toss gently, making sure the bacon stays tightly wrapped. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200ºC, gas mark 6. Line a large baking tray with baking parchment and arrange the pigs in blankets on it, keeping the sauce left in the bowl. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping and brushing with all the reserved sauce halfway, until sticky, caramelised and cooked through with no pink meat remaining. Pile on a platter, scatter over the sesame seeds and salad onions and pass around with cocktail sticks.
