That was when we could write about whatever we wanted, like how oat beta-glucans are good for your heart, without anyone paying much attention. Today, no one thinks oat drink is weird, and to protect you from false claims we can't mention beta-glucans without telling you the following: 3 grams of oat beta-glucans a day, as part of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle, helps maintain normal cholesterol levels. High cholesterol is a risk factor for coronary heart disease. Just one 290 ml glass of this Oatly drink provides a third (1 g) of the recommended daily beta-glucan intake. That's definitely something we want to say. The trick for me as the writer is to get it in there without it sounding forced or weird. I think I did okay.
