  • Sea salt, for the rim
  • 2 limes, 1 cut into wedges, 1 juiced
  • 200g frozen dark sweet cherries
  • 50ml tequila
  • 25ml triple sec


  1. Tip the salt onto a small plate. Run a wedge of lime around the rim of 2 margarita glasses, then dip into the salt so it sticks.

  2. Tip the cherries, tequila, triple sec and the juice of 1 lime into a blender. Blitz well, then immediately pour into the glasses, garnish with a wedge of lime and serve.

Cook’s tip

You can easily double or even triple this recipe to provide for a crowd. Simply ensure your blender is large enough.
