Tip the salt onto a small plate. Run a wedge of lime around the rim of 2 margarita glasses, then dip into the salt so it sticks.
Tip the cherries, tequila, triple sec and the juice of 1 lime into a blender. Blitz well, then immediately pour into the glasses, garnish with a wedge of lime and serve.
You can easily double or even triple this recipe to provide for a crowd. Simply ensure your blender is large enough.
