  • 2 Waitrose Chai Tea Bags
  • 1 redbush tea bag
  • 700ml boiled water
  • 250ml orange juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 6 cardamom pods, bruised
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 1 handful cloves


  1. Add all the tea bags to the boiled hot water in a medium saucepan. Steep for 5 minutes, or longer if you want a stronger flavour, then remove the tea bags.

  2. Place the pan over a medium heat and add the orange juice, honey and cardamom pods. Stud the apple slices with the cloves and add to the pan. Heat for 5 minutes to a gentle simmer and serve warm.
