St Clements cream tea buns

Ingredients

  • 1 pack/s St Clements Hot Cross Buns
  • ½ x 200g No.1 Sicilian Lemon Clotted Cream
  • 4 tbsp Duchy Organic Seville Orange Marmalade
  • Icing sugar, to serve

Method

  1. Cut each bun open on a diagonal from the top down, without opening it completely.

  2. Spread one side generously with clotted cream and the other with 1 tbsp marmalade. Press the sides back together.

  3. Dust with a little icing sugar and serve.

Cook’s tip

For a more traditional take, pick up a pack of richly fruited mini hot cross buns, then split and fill with Duchy Organic Strawberry Extra Jam Preserve and No.1 Madagascan Vanilla Clotted Cream instead.
