Ingredients

  • 50ml rye or bourbon whiskey
  • 50ml Fernet-Branca
  • 50ml sugar syrup
  • 1 tsp Angostura Bitters
  • 25ml cold water

To serve

  • 1 orange, zest peeled into strips

Method

  1. Pour the rye or bourbon whiskey, Fernet-Branca, sugar syrup, Angostura bitters and cold water into a large jug. Stir, then pour into a freezer-safe bottle or container. Freeze for at least 1 hour or up to 3.

  2. Serve 75ml each in small glasses, with a strip of orange zest. Serves 4-5.
