Rösti
A traditional Swiss dish of crispy, fried grated potato. Rösti (Swiss style spiced and grated potato) is available from Waitrose.
Uses: Serve rösti with fish or meat as an accompanying vegetable.
To store: Store in a cool, dry place and use by the best before date. Once opened store in the fridge and consume within 24 hours.
To cook: Heat a heavy-based 20cm non-stick frying pan until hot. Add the contents of the foil pouch and stir gently to break up. Press the mixture firmly down with the back of a large spoon and cook over a medium heat for 10 minutes. Turn the rösti over then cook for a further 5 minutes.
