Crafted in Italy, this classic tomato sauce is made using naturally sweet Italian tomatoes. Gently simmered with extra virgin olive oil to bring out the sweetness even more, the result is a sauce that is bright, simple, perfectly balanced and just the thing to bring authentic Mediterranean flavour to any dish. Our pasta sauces are made by a family business that began growing vegetables in the Pianura Padana region in Northern Italy in the early 1900s. Founded in 1954, they make their sauces thoughtfully, to give a character that feels homemade. Angelas suggestion. Finish with freshly torn basil and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Cooking Info

Hob (From Chilled)

Time: 4-5 mins. CHILLED. MEDIUM HEAT. Empty contents into a pan. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled.

Microwave (From Chilled)

Microwave ovens vary: refer to handbook. Remove sleeve, lid and film. Lay the lid back on to the pot and place pot on a microwaveable plate. Stir halfway through heating time. Allow to stand for 2 minutes after heating. Check food is piping hot. If not heat for a further brief period. Stir before serving. Do not reheat once cooled. (800W: 3 1/2 mins, 900W: 3 mins, 1000W: 2 1/2 mins)
