Steam (From Chilled)

Steam. Time: 2½ hours. Remove outer packaging and plastic insert. Run a knife around the outer edge of the pudding to loosen before heating. Leave in ceramic basin and cover top with foil. …Place in a steamer over boiling water or alternatively, use a large saucepan with a trivet or an upturned heat-resistant saucer. Place the basin on the trivet/saucer and add boiling water to come halfway up the basin. …Ensure that water does not enter the pudding. Steam/simmer with saucepan lid on. Top up with boiling water as necessary, do not allow to boil dry.

Microwave (From Chilled)

Microwave ovens vary; refer to handbook. Remove outer packaging and plastic insert. Run a knife around the outer edge of the pudding to loosen before heating. Place the basin upright in a microwave onto a microwaveable plate. Allow to stand for 4 minutes before serving. Check food is piping hot - if not reheat for a further brief period. (800W: 3 mins, 900W: 2 mins 30 secs, 1000W: 2 mins 30 secs)
