A crisp filo pastry pie filled with chickpeas, grated parsnip, celeriac and carrot and infused with saffron, sumac and dried barberries with a Greek Feta cheese centre. Finished with pistachios, barberries and honey infused with pul biber and cinnamon.

Brought to you by Dishpatch, Sabrina Ghayour's North African-inspired filo pie combines chickpeas, parsnip, celeriac and carrot with saffron, sumac and dried barberries, surrounding a creamy Greek feta centre and wrapped in layers of crisp filo pastry. "It's a real flavour explosion in every bite," says Sabrina. "You can have it as a main, or you can have it as a side dish." Topped with pistachios, barberries and a drizzle of pul biber and cinnamon honey, it has a beautiful jewel-like finish.

Oven cook (From Chilled)

Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan and preheat a baking tray. 10 minutes before cooking, remove the root vegetable & feta bastilla from the fridge and remove the outer packaging. 1. Make an egg wash by whisking a whole egg with a splash of milk (just milk will do in a pinch!). 2. Brush a little of the egg/milk wash over the bastilla, then lift the paper liner and bastilla onto the preheated baking tray and bake for 38 minutes. 3. Remove the bastilla from the oven and drizzle with the cinnamon Aleppo honey. Sprinkle the pistachios and barberries over the top, then return the bastilla to oven to cook for a further 2 minutes. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Check food is piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. (Time 40 Minutes, Oven: 220°C, Fan: 200°C)
