Please retain this information for future reference. Pumpkin Carving Instructions Step 1: Pick a pumpkin without any nicks or soft spots. Step 2: Cut a circle around the stem for a lid. Make sure it is at least enough to place your hand through. Step 3: Remove all the stringy pulp and seeds from your pumpkin. Step 4: Scrape the inside of your pumpkin. Step 5: Draw your design onto the pumpkin. Step 6: Use the carving tool to shape the outline of each section of your design. Be careful not to bendor twist the saw to prevent breaking. Gently turn the saw in direct you wish to cut. It is recommended to use a battery operated tea light and not an open flame.
