The best of both worlds made simple. Turkey breast on the bone comes topped with maple streaky bacon and prepared with a classic pork, sage and onion stuffing. Under the skin, a savoury butter with roasted shallots and herbs melts to baste the turkey during cooking. All you have to do is pierce the ovenable pouch and roast for succulent breast meat.
Coupled with the turkey breast are two melt-in-the-mouth turkey thighs that have been slow-cooked for 6.5 hours for exceptional tenderness. Take the breast out of the oven to rest while the thighs finish cooking to perfection. Then simply thicken the slow cooked meat juices with a touch of cornflour for an effortless - and delicious - gravy. And voilà - your Christmas centrepiece is served.
