British chicken in a spiced cream, tomato and butter sauce with Greek style yogurt, encased in shortcrust pastry topped with a puff pastry lid.
We make the filling for our Chicken Curry Pie with tender pieces of chicken thigh, cooked in a creamy sauce inspired by the curry house classic, Butter Chicken. The sauce is made with cream and spiced with coriander, cumin, fenugreek and cardamom. It all goes into crumbly shortcrust pastry with a flaky puff pastry lid, glazed with free range egg so the pie comes out of the oven crisp and golden. ……All our chicken is from slower reared breeds, raised with more space, by farmers who share our higher welfare values.
