Ingredients

  • 200g McCain Air Fryer Hash Brown Bites
  • 2 seasoned sausage patties
  • 1 large avocado
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lime, juice
  • Butter, or oil, for greasing
  • 4 medium free range eggs
  • 2 large tortilla wraps
  • 4 cheese slices

Method

  1. Heat your air fryer to 200ºC. Put the hash brown bites in the base of the air fryer, then add the sausage patties on top (or in another drawer if you have one). Air fry for 12-14 minutes, turning everything halfway, until the hash browns are golden and the patties cooked through. Remove from the air fryer and set aside. Increase the air fryer heat to 220ºC.

  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl mash the avocado, red onion and lime juice with a pinch of salt until combined. Put the avocado shell on top to stop it going brown and set aside. Grease a heatproof dish that will fit in your air fryer. Crack in the eggs, beat together and season. Cook in the air fryer for 6 minutes, stirring every few minutes until softly scrambled.

  3. Put 2 patty halves in the centre of a tortilla wrap with 2 slices of cheese, half the hash browns and half the scrambled egg. Fold in the sides, then roll into a burrito. Repeat with the other wrap. Return the burritos to the air fryer, fold-side down, and cook for 2 minutes until piping hot. Serve with the guacamole and hot sauce, if liked
