Ingredients

  • 100ml gin
  • 3 cardamom pods, bruised
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp golden caster sugar
  • 15ml maple syrup
  • 20ml Jägermeister
  • 10ml red vermouth

Method

  1. Pour the gin into a glass and add the bruised cardamom pods. Leave for 15 minutes.

  2. Combine the ground cinnamon with sugar on a plate. Dip the rims of 2 glasses in water, then into the sugar to coat.

  3. Strain the cardamom gin into a shaker. Stir in the maple syrup, Jägermeister and red vermouth, then add some ice. Shake until very cold and strain into the glasses.
