Ingredients

  • 300g spinach dal
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • tsp Cooks’ Ingredients Deggi Mirch Spice Blend
  • 2 tsp Essential Single Cream, optional
  • ¼ x 25g pack coriander, leaves roughly chopped, to serve

Method

  1. Heat the dal according to pack instructions. Put the oil into a small pan over a medium heat. When hot, add the deggi mirch and sizzle for 1-2 minutes, or until toasted and aromatic.

  2. Transfer the dal to a serving bowl, then drizzle the deggi mirch oil over the top. Finish with the single cream, if using, and the coriander
