Quick garlic, cheese & chive buns
Great as a quick lunch served with carved ham and cheese, or served straight from the oven with extra garlic butter spread on. Try adding Cheddar and English mustard for extra flavour.

Ingredients
225g self-raising flour
1 pinch salt
1 tsp baking powder
50g Lurpak Butter With Crushed Garlic, diced
1/2 x 25g pack chives, chopped
50g Gruyère cheese, grated
150ml semi skimmed milk
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C, gas mark 6. Mix the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl. Rub in the garlic butter to resemble breadcrumbs. Stir in the chives and cheese.
Gradually blend in the milk to give a soft dough. Roll out on a floured surface to 2cm thick. Using a 6cm round cutter, cut out 8 buns and place on a baking tray. Brush with milk and bake for 10 minutes until risen and golden.
