Preparation and Usage
Directions for Use:
Squeeze cap to open.
Kettles: Half fill the kettle with water, bring to the boil and then unplug. Add 1/3 of a bottle of descaler and leave for 30 mins or overnight. Flush out and rinse thoroughly before use.
Coffee Machines: Add 100ml of descaler to 500mls of water and add to the machine reservoir. Turn on and run through the machine. Rinse afterwards with 2 full reservoirs of water.
Irons: Check manufacturer's instructions to ensure iron is suitable for descaling. Carefully heat the iron until hot, then unplug and turn down the temperature dial to 'off'. Add 50ml of descaler to the water chamber and top up with water. Hold the iron over a sink or bowl and depress the steam button until the iron is empty. Repeat with fresh water twice. Test iron on an old piece of fabric before next use.
Shower Heads: Add 50ml of descaler to a jug of hot water and immerse the shower head. Leave for 30 minutes and rinse jug and shower head thoroughly. Repeat if required.
