Torta da festa is a festive party cake and Gianduia simply refers to the rich hazelnut and chocolate filling inside the cake - a sort of Italian spin on one of our favourite spreads. The 'party cake' is topped in bittersweet dark chocolate and sprinkled with nibbed hazelnuts. Popular in the Piedmont region of Italy, think of this like a delicious panettone without the vine fruits. Yum!
