Ingredients

  • 4 British Blacktail Medium Free Range Eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 4 pack of Waitrose Richly Fruited Hot Cross Buns
  • 8 rasher/s smoked streaky bacon
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup, to drizzle

Method

  1. Beat the eggs together with a splash of milk in a shallow container. Have the hot cross buns and soak in the egg mix.

  2. Meanwhile, grill the streaky bacon rashers until crispy.

  3. Heat a non-stick frying pan with the butter or oil and fry the buns until golden on both sides. Top with the bacon and a drizzle of maple syrup.
