Ingredients

  • 2 thin red onion slices
  • 30ml lemon juice
  • 1 pinch/es sugar
  • 1 pinch/es salt
  • 100ml Stoli Vodka
  • 50ml gin
  • 10ml dry vermouth

To serve

  • 2 sprig/s dill

Method

  1. Put the thin red onion slices into a bowl with the lemon juice and a generous pinch each of sugar and salt. Stir well and leave for 20 minutes.

  2. Pour the vodka, 50ml gin and 10ml dry vermouth into a mixing glass or jug with ice and stir until cold. Strain into two glasses. Pat the onion slices dry and use as a garnish along with a sprig of dill in each.
