Wine of Yarra Valley, Australia. Victoria's first vineyard. The Elms were planted at Yering Station by Swiss vigneron Paul de Castella in the 1850's as a wedding gift to his new wife. The Elms today tower over our Estate block and form a necessary wind break from the cold south westerly winds that make the Yarra Valley such a cold part of Victoria. The 2016 Pinot Noir has aromas of black cherry and a perfumed, spicy lift. The palate is rich and soft with a long, lingering finish.
