    The spiced toddy

    Serves: 1


    200ml boiled water
    1 tbsp honey
    1 sprig rosemary
    2 cardamom pods
    1 star anise
    15ml fresh lemon juice
    25ml bourbon
    25ml Grand Marnier
    Lemon zest, to garnish 


    1. Place all the ingredients, except the alcohol, in a small pot and heat for about 5 minutes.

    2. Remove from the heat and stir in the bourbon and Grand Marnier.

    3. Pour into a heatproof glass and garnish with lemon zest.
