These are whole sweet red peppers, available peeled and oven roasted in jars.
Uses: The peppers can be eaten straight from the jar as part of a Mediterranean style starter - they are delicious sprinkled with olive oil, chopped garlic and lemon juice. They can be chopped and added to pasta sauces, salads, stir-fries and casseroles. For a simple starter, stuff with a mixture of cream cheese, herbs and chopped garlic and grill until heated right through.
To store: Keep in a cool dark place for up to 1 year and once opened store in the fridge for up to 1 month.
