Make it yourself – easy gravy

Cook 12 minutes
Dissolve one Chicken Stock Cube in 500ml boiling water. Heat a knob of butter or 1 tbsp olive oil in a saucepan, then stir in 1 tbsp flour. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously, then gradually stir in the hot chicken stock, 3 tbsp port or red wine (optional) and any juices from the resting turkey.
Add 8 fresh Cooks’ Ingredients Sage Leaves, then bring to the boil, stirring until smooth and thickened. Simmer for 5 minutes, then stir in 1 tbsp redcurrant jelly or cranberry sauce until dissolved. Season to taste, then strain into a warm jug.
